1 – Introduction

The BDL5 group companies are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement describes how the companies of the BDL5 group collect and process your personal data and the purposes for which your data is processed.

Your data will be stored, processed and shared in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection legislation.

2 – Personal data collected

Categories of data

Your personal data is collected and processed, either manually or automatically, when you visit our websites or when you fill in data collection forms available on the websites of each BDL5 group companies. In addition, during any business interaction or event organised by BDL5 group, your data is also collected and processed as part of your relationship and dealings with us.

Several categories of personal data concerning you may be collected, and in particular the following data:

  • Identification data: this includes data such as your title, your first name and surname, your contact details (e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, professional details);
  • Data relating to the monitoring of your relationship with BDL5 such as: requests for meetings, contact or information, correspondence and exchanges, commercial opportunities, language and preferred means of contact;
  • Data relating to your participation in our events;
  • And any other personal information that you may provide in the course of your dealings with us.
Purpose of the processing activity

The BDL5 group process your data in whole or in part for the following purposes:

  • Management, processing and follow-up of your requests and your exchanges with the BDL5 group companies by means of or initiated via the website (for example: request for contact, information or an appointment and submission of a call for tenders);
  • Processing of requests by telephone or online;
  • Pursuit of the legitimate interests of the BDL5 group in the management and monitoring of its services;
  • Contact and invite to events organised by the BDL5 group.
Disclosure

BDL5 will not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless requested to do so in writing by a legal authority in accordance with a legal obligation to perform its official duties, or if disclosure is necessary to protect your vital interests.

Retention period

We keep your personal data in a form that allows you to be identified for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Subcontracting

When delegating the processing of the above-mentioned activities to third parties, the BDL5 group shall ensure that such subcontracting is governed by a written contract which includes conditions guaranteeing at least the same level of protection for personal data as those set out in this declaration and which meet the requirements of the provisions of Swiss law on the protection of personal data.

Data protection measures

The companies of the BDL5 group and its affiliates shall ensure data security in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act. The measures taken are technical and organisational measures relating to data security in order to guarantee an adequate level of protection with regard to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and the resilience of systems.

Data transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to servers hosted outside Switzerland. These transfers are made to countries offering an appropriate level of protection or governed by equivalent guarantees under Swiss law on the protection of personal data.

Types of cookies used and their purposes
